Fresh flowers in the foyer help make this small, family-run residence feel like a gracious home. The lobby's glossy parquet floors, elegant door moldings, and handsome wood Empire-style desk and chairs make a sweet impression. Traditionally furnished guest rooms have king-size beds, padded headboards, and Persian-style rugs. There are only six rooms, so you're guaranteed personal attention from the eager-to-please staff. This is yet another hotel that is somewhat distant from the historic heart of Rome, but the Stazione Termini is very close and has all the transportion links you could wish for.

We stayed here for two nights prior to the beginning of a tour, because it was considerably less expensive than the hotel the tour was using (which we moved to later for the tour).
We had a large, well-furnished room with a comfortable bed, and the helpfulness of the staff made the hotel really stand out. It was a much better value than the other hotel (The Hotel Majestic).

Stayed here June 5-8, 2007. Very clean, lovely terrace, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (Gaitano and Barbara). Room was a good size, bed very firm, bathroom nice but shower very small. Hotel is out of the main tourist area which made it a little tricky to find after spending the day exploring Rome but we did like the fact that it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists. When we go back to Rome, and we will, we will definitely stay at Residenza Cellini again!
