Fodor's Review

In the 12th century one of the largest Jewish communities in southern Italy flourished here, and on Via Sinagoga two of the four synagogues still stand. The 13th-century Scolanova has been reconverted to a synagogue after a long period as a Christian church, while the former Santa Anna now houses a museum of Trani's Jewish history.
