Hidden away in the basement of the Lingotto food emporium, this is one of Turin's destinations for fine dining. The decor is starkly modern and, without windows, it all might seem claustrophobic to some, but the food makes up for everything. Traditional dishes, particularly those from northern Piedmont, are served up with creative style. Among the antipasti, the insalata russa con battuta di tonno (Russian salad with tuna) is as tasty as it is unusual. The agnolotti
alla Vecchia Eporedia are an equally delicious rendition of the commonly found pasta dish, which is served with the pan juices of roast veal. The wine list is an encylopedia, with many small wineries included.
