Fodor's Review:

The Enoteca on Piazza Alfieri, a square adjacent to Campo del Palio, is a wine center and shop, open Monday-Saturday 9-4:30, where you can try a range of Asti vintages, buy a bottle, and have a light snack. Be aware, though, that prices for spumante in Asti are not necessarily lower than those elsewhere.
