Fodor's Expert Review Borgo Medievale

Turin Town/Village

Editor's Note: This property is currently undergoing renovations.

Along the banks of the Po, this complex, built for a General Exhibition in 1884, is a faithful reproduction of a typical Piedmont village in the Middle Ages. Craft shops, houses, a church, and stores are clustered in the narrow lanes, and in the center of the village is the Rocca Medievale, a medieval castle that's its main attraction, but is closed until at least 2023 for major restorations.
