Borgo Medioevale

Fodor's Review:

Along the banks of the Po, this complex, built for a General Exhibition in 1884, is a faithful reproduction of a typical Piedmont village in the Middle Ages: crafts shops, houses, a church, and stores cluster the narrow lanes, and in the center of the village the Rocca Medioevale, a medieval castle, provides the town's main attraction.

  • Cost: Village free, Rocca Medioevale EUR 5
  • Open: Village: Apr.-Oct., daily 9-8; Nov.-Mar., daily 9-7. Rocca Medioevale: Tues.-Sun. 9-7; groups of no more than 25 enter the castle every ½ hr. Ticket counter closes at 6:15
