This hotel in a 19th-century building is located on Asti's main square. The spacious rooms are somewhat eclectically decorated, with a mix of contemporary and period furniture. Though this is one of the oldest hotels in Asti, all the bathrooms have been modernized and are spotlessly maintained. Pros: Spacious rooms, very central location. Cons: Lobby area looking a little worn, rooms facing the main square can be noisy.

We selected this place because it has parking and is centrally located for walking. Only drawback we found was lots of street noise. Rooms are spacious. Baths could use an upgrade. Very European feel. The location can't be beat on Pz Alfieri, and the Saturday morning market was a blast. Hotel formal restaurant IL Flauto is very nice, doing a few local specialities very well.
