A belle epoque hotel with faux-Gothic touches, the Billia is in a park in the middle of town and connects directly to the casino via a passageway. Half the rooms are done in modern and half in period decor, but all have high ceilings, finely upholstered furniture, and well-stocked bathrooms. Pros: Adjacent to the casino, surrounded by parkland, good for those who want old-world luxury. Cons: Lobby area and some rooms are showing signs of wear, long empty halls and cavernous public spaces give the place a somewhat forbidding air.
