Fodor's Review:
A safe, convenient base for cash-strapped travelers, this former convent was pleasingly converted into a hostel in 2001. It's a 10-minute walk from the Amphitheater entrance and close to the action in Pompei's main square -- yet seemingly miles away from the tourist throngs. Fairly spartan accommodation consists of dormitories (EUR 14 per bed) and family rooms (EUR 16.50 per bed).
