Teatro Mercadante

Fodor's Review:

Teatro Mercadante, a Belle Epoque theater with an ultramodern foyer, hosts touring productions of invariably high quality. In 2006 John Turturro even brought his American production of famous Neapolitan playwright Eduardo de Filippo's Souls of Naples here. Reviews were mixed, but it raised the theater's profile considerably.
