Off an improbably quiet cloister enclosing a prolific forest of citrus, fig, and loquat trees, the Girolamini art museum is attached to the restored Girolamini church. Its intimate, high-quality collection of 16th- and 17th-century paintings (one of the city's best-kept secrets) and the newly-restored 16th-century libriaries are well worth a visit. Opening hours are staggered so plan your visit carefully.
