Villa Sarah Review

Few hotels offer such a quintessentially Caprese spirit as this villa jewel. Set in one of Capri's nicest residential quarters and lovingly run by the De Martino family, their Capri-yellow Mediterranean building has a sweet island style and comes wonderfully surrounded by lush gardens, abloom with flowers, fruit, and peace. Only after threading leafy paths and climbing some gentle steps do you spot the two-story villa, which is done up in white and golds with some of those iconic round Capri windows as accents. You immediately feel as if you are a guest in one of those multimillion-dollar private Capri villas. Inside, guest rooms are homey and furnished with bright, simple accents. The quiet and restful nights do come at a price: a long 15-minute walk downhill is needed to get to the action of Capri town's Piazzetta. Particularly lovely and gently priced (for Capri), this is truly a wonderful option.
