Fodor's Review:

An oasis of what Italians call stile liberty (art-nouveau style), this calm and elegant hotel sits in the bustling centro storico (historic center) near the Museo Archeologico Nazionale. Each room is individually decorated. Ask for a room with a balcony in the warmer months and enjoy your breakfast alfresco, or opt for one of the garden rooms that open out onto the small swimming pool. Pros: Peaceful atmosphere, close to good cafés in Piazza Bellini. Cons: In a seedy part of town, not all rooms have baconies.
