Fodor's Review:

The name means "Room of Taste," and this restaurant lives up to the billing. A minute's walk from some of the city's busiest streets, up a flight of stairs opposite the Teatro Sannazzaro on Via Chiaia, it feels removed from the hectic world outside. Chef Mario Avallone mixes traditional, but often nearly forgotten, southern Italian recipes with modern trends—hence the presence of the tempura di verdura (Japanese-style fried vegetables) alongside the bomba savoia (a savory cake of rice and potatoes). Save room for the delicious sweets.
