Museo Civico Archeologico (Municipal Archaeological Museum) Review

Appropriately situated in the heart of Roman Milan, this museum's garden encloses the polygonal Ansperto tower, which was once part of the Roman walls. Housed in a former monastery, this museum has some everyday utensils, jewelry, an important silver plate from the last days of paganism, and several fine examples of mosaic pavement. Part of the early Middle Ages section is closed for restructuring.
