Villa Fiordaliso Review

This pink-and-white lakeside villa—once home to Claretta Petacci, given to her by Benito Mussolini—is a high-quality restaurant, but it also has seven tastefully furnished rooms, some overlooking the lake. The hotel's most expensive room, the Claretta Suite, is said to be the very place where Mussolini and Petacci carried on their affair. The Art Nouveau restaurant features seasonal ingredients such as zucchini flowers and porcini mushrooms, paramount in salads and soups.
