This tiny, bustling first-class pizzeria near the Duomo serves specialties from Tuscany and other parts of Italy. The wood oven is in full view, so you can see your pizza cooking in front of you. Aside from the pizza, the menu is essentially Tuscan. Try the seasonal specialities: in summer, the panzanella, a salad with toasted bread; and in winter, the ribollita, a dense soup of vegetables, cabbage, and bread. The tagliata, thin slices of grilled Tuscan beef garnished with rosemary and peppercorns or arugula, is another specialty. Reservations are essential on weekends, when two sittings of diners are squeezed in between the cinema showtimes.
