Al Rifugio Pugliese

Al Rifugio Pugliese Review

Outside the center of town, this is a fun place to sample specialties from the Puglia region of southern Italy. These include homemade orecchiette (a small, ear-shape pasta) and other pastas served with a variety of sauces. There is a wide choice of first courses, as well as plenty of vegetable, meat, and fish dishes. The lunch buffet is a good deal at €10, as are the fixed-price menus of €34.50 and €39.50 that can include wine, coffee, and after-dinner drinks. Dishes are piled high, so share or come with a big appetite.
