Four Seasons Review

Built in the 15th century as a convent and surrounding a colonnaded cloister, this luxurious retreat that is often cited as Milan's best hotel exudes a feeling that is anything but urban. Parts of the original frescoes can still be seen in the lobby and lounge, and some rooms have balconies looking onto a glassed-in courtyard. The Theater restaurant has some of Milan's best hotel dining, provided by Chef Sergio Mei, and serves a Sunday brunch that is well worth the high price tag. Ask about the "Chocolate Room" when it is time for dessert.

    Perfect service

Our large room lacked an ounce of character and the mini bar prices are quite ridiculous. However the concierge service is out of this world - they got us into nightclubs, arrange limo hire, got our rental car taken away etc etc.
