Fodor's Review:

In the Porta Ticinese area, and near the Navigli district, Joia Leggero (light) is a lower-price, more-informal initiative of innovative chef Pietro Leemann, the man behind Joia. With a pleasant view of the church of St. Eustorgio and a few tables outside, this airy restaurant serves haute-vegetarian food. "Leggero" does not necessarily refer to the calorie content; the offerings—especially the excellent desserts—are often satisfyingly rich. This is not typical sprouts-and-grains health food. Try the well-priced set meals (vegetarian lunch is EUR 11, EUR 14 with fish), which are attractively presented on Japanese-inspired trays.
