Villa Fiordaliso Review

The pink-and-white lakeside Villa Fiordaliso—once home to Claretta Petacci, given to her by Benito Mussolini—is a high-quality restaurant, but it also has seven tastefully furnished rooms, some overlooking the lake. The Claretta Suite is where Mussolini and Petacci were said to have carried on an affair. The art nouveau restaurant ($$$-$$$$) features seasonal ingredients such as zucchini flowers and porcini mushrooms, paramount in salads and soups.
