The same family has run this lakeside inn for more than 150 years. The latest addition is a stunning new pool with views of the lake. The present chefs, Davide Brovelli and his father, Carlo, do the family proud. Lake trout and perch find their way onto the menu, as do artichoke dishes in spring and eggplant in summer. Guest rooms are in two late-19th-century villas surrounded by a garden and overlooking the lake. Restaurant ($$-$$$) reservations are essential.
