Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees Review

This palatial, Liberty-style establishment has catered to a demanding European clientele since 1863. It still has the spacious salons and lavish furnishings of the turn of the 20th century, but there are signs of modernity as well, including a redesigned bar, a low-calorie menu at the restaurant, and extensive wellness treatments. The views and lakeside grounds are first-rate.
