Getting Here

By car from Milan, start out on the A1 autostrada and switch to A21 at Piacenza; the drive is 100 km (62 mi) and lasts about 1½ hours. From Pavia, take SS617 to A21; the trip is 70 km (44 mi) and lasts about 1¼ hours. By train, Cremona is about an hour from Milan and 1½ hours from Desenzano, near Sirmione on Lake Garda.
