Sports and the Outdoors

Lake Como has many opportunities for sports enthusiasts, from windsurfing at the lake's northern end, to boating, sailing, and jet skiing at Como and Cernobbio. The lake is also quite swimmable in the summer months. For hikers there are lovely paths all around the lake. For an easy trek, take the funicular up to Brunate, and walk along the mountain to the lighthouse for a stunning view of the lake.
