Want to have a sophisticated meal in a 16th-century Renaissance artist's studio? The former studio of Santi di Tito, a student of Bronzino's, has a simple, formal decor, with white tablecloths and place settings. The classic, elegantly presented Tuscan food is superb, and the solid, afforable wine list rounds out the menu – especially because Stefano, the sommelier, really knows his stuff. The service is outstanding. Reservations are advised, especially for eating at
the wine cellar's only table.

While in Florence on our honeymoon. We asked one of the locals the best restaurant where he would go for an exceptional meal and this was his suggestion and it was exceptional.

I could not give less than "5" in every category to this restaurant in which my wife and I dined twice on our March, 2004 visit to Florence. The range of both the menu and the wine list and the quality of both were impressive; the atmosphere was warm and personal attention/service were exceptional: on our second visit we were made to feel like regular patrons. Given the other elements, the cost represented excellent value. We would visit Florence
again for the pleasure of dining at Taverna del Bronzino!

This was an excellent choice for dinner in Florence. The wait staff couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. They went out of their way to explain every dish on the menu in English and when the food arrived it was excellent. Great food, great wine and great wait staff. You can't go wrong here!
