¢-$, Italian, Santa Croce
Fodor's Review:
Florentine business types seeking comfort food, Tuscan style, crowd this small place at lunchtime. There's hardly anything on the menu that isn't Tuscan, from the tasty crostini starting the meal to the cantuccini (local dialect for "biscotti") that finish it. Their ribollita is particularly good. A hearty salsa verde (green sauce) accompanies the terrific bollito misto (mixed boiled meats) -- a particularly soothing dish when it's cold outside. Tuscan dominates the wine list, too.(
