They call themselves an osteria-pizzeria, and certainly many Florentines flock here to indulge in the sinfully rich, thin-crusted pizzas turned out by a skilled pizzaiuolo. However, the real thrills come from the fantastic osteria part of the menu. Start with the bavarese di pomodoro fresco su salsa al basilico (a chilled tomato concoction spiked with garlic and sauced with basil), sample one of the divine pastas, and then move on to any of the meats, like the millefoglie di manza con pomodori secchi e parmigiano (thinly sliced rare roast beef with sun-dried tomatoes and Parmesan).
