Although open also at lunchtime, this is most definitely an evening venue (the outside tables are on the other side of the busy Via Pasitea). Living up to its name, the restaurant's ambience inside is distinctly Moorish without being kitschy. This is one of the few restaurants patronized by the Positanesi: antipasti misti is a favorite starter, while bass with leeks, veal with provolone, and local wines are all delicious. Pizza is also served.

Best Pizza in the World!

We had pizza and salad. We can't comment on any of the other items people have talked about, but the pizza we had with arugula, tomato sauce, basil, fresh shaved parmesan was AMAZING! I think there was garlic flavoured olive oil on it too. While in Positano for six nights, we also went to La Pergola and Don Alfonso 1890, and Da Adolfo, and they were all excellent too, but the Saraceno D'Oro was perhaps the most memorable of all just because it was so simple, so fresh, and so good. Everytime we have pizza now, we say we have to go back to Positano to have the Saraceno D'Oro Pizza! Highly Recommended.

Ate dinner here. Nothing was really memorable. The restuarant has tables on one side of the street (one lane road), and then tables on the other side. Some people may find this appealing (like a picnic almost), but my boyfriend didn't enjoy the cars passing by our table. As for the food, we had caprese, antipasto, veal, and grilled fish. The veal was dry and overcooked and the fish was overcooked to the point it was literally black on the bottom. Out of all of the dishes, nothing stood out, and it wasn't exactly cheap. Actually, it was probably the worst meal of our 8 day trip.
