Aurora Review

Though often frequented by celebrities—whose photographs adorn the walls inside and out—this restaurant offers courtesy and simpatia irrespective of your star status. The oldest restaurant on the island, now in its third generation, it has a sleekly minimalist interior, but if you want to see and be seen, book a table outside on one of Capri's chicest thoroughfares. The cognoscenti start by sharing a pizza all'Acqua: thin, with mozzarella and a sprinkling of peperoncino (chili). Also try the Gnocchetti al Pesto con Fagiolini Croccanti e Pinoli (dumplings with pesto, beans and pine nuts)—but leave room for the homemade sweets. Often open until 2 a.m., the newly opened Aurora Bar across the way serves aperitivi and light meals.

    L'Aurora Review

Food was ok, but service was awful- non-existant even!
This used to be a good Pizzeria, but it has aspirations to be a swanky tourist trap. Witness many Americans bravely praising the small portions of food on oversized plates, and profusely thanking the sneering staff for allowing them to have a reservation. Save your money & go elsewhere!

    Trendy but Distant

The "In" place with so-so food and indifferent service. Pizza is NOT the way to go here. Had better at the parking lot in Pompei.
