Quisisana Review

Some say there are three villages on Capri: Capri Town, Anacapri, and this celebrated landmark hotel, which looms large in the island's mythology, drawing "didn't-I-meet-you-in-Saint-Tropez?" guests who wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. The lobby is enormous and the theater-cum-convention center is a 1930s jewel designed by noted modernist Gio Ponti. The "Quisi" also scores points for its restaurants, see-and-be-seen bars (plug into Capri's network of rich and famous at the Krug Lounge), and convenient location near the Piazzetta. The clientele is devoted, so even though this is Capri's biggest hotel, it's also the hardest-to-get reservation in high season.

    Lovely

    We stayed at the Quisisana for five days in June, 2012. Our room was spacious, beautiful, well appointed, and the bed was divinely comfortable! The service was perfection, the concierge arranged outings for us that went off without a single hitch. They handled everything seamlessly and effortlessly. The breakfast buffet was included with our room rate, and it was delicious. Fresh fruits, great breads and cheeses, everything you could want in a breakfast buffet. I cannot wait to go back. It's a tidge pricey, that's the only drawback. Otherwise, I'd still be there!!! =)
