Fodor's Review:

The chance to stay on a working farm is the draw at La Pergola, a whitewashed villa perched on the slopes of Monte Epomeo. Surrounded by vineyards and olive and fruit trees, the villa has sweeping views westward over Citara Beach. The dynamic owner, Giosuè, also operates a thriving restaurant serving local specialties including the fabled coniglio all'ischitana (rabbit simmered with tomatoes). Pros: Quiet setting, homegrown produce served at meals. Cons: Skimpy furnishings, far from town.
