Via Marina Grande turns into a pedestrian lane, then a stairway leading to Sorrento's only real beach at Marina Grande, where fishermen pull up their boats and there are some good seafood restaurants. A frequent bus also plies this route; tickets are sold at the tabacchi (tobacconist).
