$$-$$$, Italian, Sorrento
Fodor's Review:
Near the Marina Grande and not the most visually prepossessing place in Sorrento, this spot has a happy plus with Signora Emilia herself in the kitchen (and often out front as well). The rickety wooden tables and red-check tablecloths are a refreshing change from the town's (occasionally pretentious) elegance. Go for a plate of honest spaghetti with clams, wash it down with a carafe of the slightly acidic white wine, and watch the fishermen mending their nets.
