Fodor's Review:
Occupying an 18th-century, Pompeiian red manor -- replete with an iconic Caprese colonnaded veranda most of the island hotels would give their eye teeth for -- this option offers a historic vibe that belies its bargain rates. Run by the beautifully friendly Tarantino family and set in a rather off-the-beaten-track location, the Belsito ("beautiful location," indeed) does reward the hike here with its Cinerama perch over the Marina Grande and Monte Santa Maria -- a view that you can drink in during lunch or dinner on the terrace. Guest rooms are on the sweet and simple side, but you won't be spending much time in them, since the Arco Naturale, the Grotto di Matermania, and the Pizzo Luongo seaside walk are just a few minutes away.
