A million-dollar view awaits you at this modest, yellow, two-story B&B on the edge of Galway Bay, 5 km (3 mi) west of Kinvara. Set on a working sheep and cattle farm, it's relatively isolated amid stone-walled fields dotted with sheep. The breakfast room, sun lounge, and front bedrooms look out across a wide sea inlet to the gray expanse of the Burren. Rooms are plain and homey but clean and well maintained. Wholesome evening meals, Irish or continental style, are cooked on request, and food is also available in the local pub, a five-minute walk away.

Bridget was a nice person, but the facilites were not. The room was musty, the bed uncomfortable, and water pressure in the add-on shower non-existent. The are some nice places to walk in the area, but it's hard to recommend the only place we were glad to leave during our holiday last summer.
