Ballina
Ballina's chief attraction is fishing for salmon and trout in the River Moy and nearby Lough Conn. With a population of 7,500, this is the largest town in County Mayo. To some eyes, Ballina's town center may appear run-down, but its unspoiled, old-fashioned shops and pubs contain many treasures.
