Kinsale has other pub-restaurants, but none with such an idyllic waterside location (kids love to play on the big stone quay here). In summer, drinks are taken outside, either at tables or on the big stone quay, which looks back to the town and out to the unspoiled outer harbor. Food is served in the first-floor restaurant, and is drawn from a variety of cuisines, including Thai, Italian, and Continental. In the evening, the front tables have splendid views of the sun setting over the harbor. The menu includes steaks, tempura prawns, and local salmon.
