Clean, airy, and in good shape (unlike some of Limerick's other inner-city lodgings), this big, well-run hotel is part of the Jurys budget chain. Rooms are good size and have light-wood furnishings. The hotel overlooks an urban stretch of the Shannon being converted from industrial to leisure use and is a short step from the main shopping and business district. Pros: good value for couples and families; reliable hotel chain with consistently helpful staff. Cons: totally bland experience; "per room" pricing policy makes it expensive for singles; hugely popular with large groups of partying Irish people.
