Wonderful views of the town and harbor await at this modern B&B, a short walk uphill from the town center (turn right at the traffic circle at the entrance to An Daingean and right again when you come to the first T-junction). It looks just like many modern bungalows, but the interior has been cleverly redesigned by a local architect, with bright color schemes enlivening the traditional chintzy look. Rooms in the main house are relatively large, simply furnished with pine-wood frame beds, and impeccably clean and well aired. There are six suites in a connecting wing, each with a sitting room and balcony. Mary Curran is known for her baking, so an outstanding breakfast is served in the conservatory, which connects the two buildings. Pros: plenty of parking nearby; wine license; nice common areas. Cons: quiet suburban location lacks the Dingle magic; bland exterior.
