Fodor's Review:

A modest terrace of modern buildings on the edge of the town park is home to this pleasant first-floor restaurant. You're greeted in a small reception area with sofa and stool, and offered a drink at the small bar while you peruse the owner-chef's menu of the day. Pale-wood furniture in a crisp Art Deco style is complemented by a dusky pink-and-cream color scheme, with linen cloths and fresh flowers on the well-spaced tables. The menu is built around seasonal local produce, and everything is made on the premises, including bread, pasta, and ice cream. Roast fillet of Kerry beef may be served with black pepper mash, fried mushrooms, and caramelized onions and garlic. Seafood is well represented, and there's always a vegetarian option. For extra value for the money, try the early-bird menu served until 7:30.
