Fodor's Review

This recent addition to the Lismore dining scene is run by Justin and Jenn Green of nearby Ballyvolane House. You'll find carefully sourced meat from local farmers and butchers, honey from nearby beekeepers, and fruits and vegetables from the eatery's own gardens. Once a Victorian-era pub, the restored interior is all wood and brass and has an intimate and relaxed feel. The steak and chops are some of the best in the region, the chop house beef and blackrock stout pie

is classic, and you'll find a few seafood options, too. All in all, this is the ideal spot to while away a rainy evening.
