Fodor's Expert Review La Boheme
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
In the historic Port of Waterford building, this intimate eatery offers an authentic taste of France and plenty of old-world charm. Popular dishes include a starter of beef carpaccio with a black peppercorn crust, white truffle oil, and rocket (arugula) leaves, followed by Dunmaore East monkfish with buckwheat risotto, asparagus, and chorizo chips. Owners Christine and Eric Théze restored the arched-ceiling space, including the original flagstone floors and lime-washed walls, and they've made a showplace out of the beautiful pewter bar.
