The Oarsman Bar & Café Review

Carrick is renowned for a rich selection of characterful pubs, many of which serve excellent food. The best and most impressive menu is found at this gastropub run by brothers Conor and Ronan Maher. A Carrick institution, it's very popular, so advance reservations for dinner are usually needed. Upstairs, a more expensive restaurant opens only on Friday and Saturday nights. Keep a space for the delicious Oarsman tasting dessert plate comprising mango ice cream, blackberry mousse, and pear-and-almond tartlet.
