Offering casual pub grub and more substantial fare, this old-fashioned inn gets understandably busy in summer. Decor harks back to the days when Ard an Ratha was Donegal's foremost weaving and wool center. If you want a quick bite, check out the daily specials in the Weavers Bistro. The weaver depicted on the menu is the grandfather of the owner, Marie Gallagher, who runs the business, which has a long pedigree stretching back to 1838. Upstairs in the dining room, steaks such as Irish rib eye are popular, as is the sirloin steak night each Friday. There's music in the bar every Saturday night. The hotel also rents simple rooms.
