In the shadow of Derry's Walls and spread over three floors, Halo Pantry, in a former shirt factory, covers the eating spectrum from a quick coffee and cake, to a three-course dinner. Light lunches and snacks are on the first floor pantry while dinner service moves to the Grill Room on the second floor and starts at 5. Main courses range from pan roasted monkfish, barberry duck breast or peppered steaks with creamy dauphinoise - comfort food of the highest order. Portions are big, so you may not have room for pudding but diners rave about the gooseberry and apple crumble. Music featuring local performers is on the bill on Saturday night.
