Madison's Hotel Review

Surrounded by the shops and cafés of tree-lined and bohemian Botanic Avenue, this gracious hotel is an ideal base for an exploration of Belfast. The facade and public areas are decorated in a modish Barcelona-inspired take on Art Nouveau, and in 2012 rooms were given a makeover with new furnishings and carpets. The downstairs houses a restaurant that serves tasty contemporary cuisine at reasonable prices, and the hip Avenue Club fills the basement. Guests have discounted access to the extensive fitness facilities of Queen's University, including a pool.
