Former restaurateurs Sam and Evelyn Hazlett now own, run, and cook for this outstanding B&B on a tranquil residential avenue. Every bedroom has its own style, all with Victorian overtones. Feel free to take advantage of the reading lounge, as well as the books around the house, and the conservatory. Breakfasts, with such delights as kedgeree and flambéed mushrooms, are first-rate. Pros: hospitable and cozy; superb range of cafés and delis on nearby Lisburn Road. Cons: showers are on the small side; long hike into town if you're not a fan of waiting for buses.
