Verbal Arts Centre Review

In its campaign to celebrate literature through performances and classes, the Verbal Arts Centre has a wide range of events on its monthly calendar. It re-creates the great old Irish tradition of fireside tales at regular storytelling events and also produces Verbal, a monthly literary magazine packed with book reviews, author profiles, and forthcoming reading events (distributed free across Northern Ireland with daily newspapers). Bookhounds love to chill at Blooms Café, a delightful spot looking out over Derry's walls.
