Tower Hotel Review

The only hotel within Derry city's historic walls, this modern building has more to offer than its unequaled location. Guest rooms are decorated in vibrant shades of red and green, with pine furnishings and well-stocked bathrooms, while the Walls Restaurant has delights like Irish salmon with horseradish and parsnips. But it is the primo location that's the draw—a one-minute walk to Austin's of the Diamond (world's oldest department store), the view of the Bogside and the "Free Derry" corner from the upper bedrooms, and window vistas that take in rooftops of rows of neat terraced houses and the city's famous murals (when booking, do request a room with a view).
