Causeway Hotel Review

Owned by England's National Trust and flaunting a stunning location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this hotel is only a half-mile from the celebrated Giant's Causeway. The hotel was founded in the 1840s and in 1890 it became the first Irish hotel to be completely lighted by electricity. Alas and alack, they should bring back some of the candles. Nearly all the historic patina has long disappeared—both the exterior and the interior are largely made up of white-on-white walls. Granted, the bar is welcoming and the "high tea" a winner, and prices here are downright budget, even more of a bargain considering the beautiful coastline right at your doorstep.
